A PYSA All Star Manager Application and the tournament schedule with dates will be provided to each interested coach. The PYSA Board will have all the tournaments selected with dates so all candidates can check their future schedules. The manager application form is to be filled out and submitted on the second meeting.

3. Second meeting: Discuss in more detail the all star process, and collect nominations for the managers. Remind coaches that they should be evaluating all-star candidates from their team, and other teams throughout the second half of the season. Keep mental and physical notes on other players if necessary.

4. Prior to the third meeting all coaches are to submit to a designated board member the top six players in their division based on league play. No player from his or her own team can be on the list. (The all star manager has not been selected at this time). This information will be provide to the manager once he or she is selected.

5. Third meeting: PYSA board will select the all star managers. Each coach is to have the opportunity to speak on his or her behalf to the board prior to the selection.

6. Division coaches will give each all star candidate a PYSA All Star Information Handout two-weeks prior to tryouts. This handout will provide information to the girls, and their parents about the process, commitment, and competition of the all star season. Additionally, there will be information regarding fees, tournament schedule dates, Cool Breeze parent participation, and a PYSA All Star Player - Parent - Manager Agreement. Upon selection to the team, each player and a parent must sign this agreement. A PYSA board member will provide the division coaches this information handout for each girl.

7. All-star managers are to have each coach in their division provide a list of players that will be trying out from his or her team. Division coaches use their discretion on which girls from their team are candidates for all stars. All girls are informed and welcome to tryout, however not all girls are candidates.

8. There will be at least two PYSA board members present at all star tryouts.

9. At tryouts, division coaches select their top nine players based on league play first and tryouts second. No players from his or her own team can be on the list. At the conclusion of tryouts, a designated board member will collect each list, tally the results, and provide them to the Player Agent.

10. PYSA board requires that managers communicate with all coaches in his or her division for more information/questions/concerns regarding a certain player/players prior to making the final selections.

11. The team will be announced on closing day. At that time, the manager and coaches will be introduced to the players and parents. Any volunteers needed for team mother, scorekeeper, or additional help from parents should be requested then. The PYSA Player - Parent Manager Agreement is to be handed out again to those players who misplaced the original one. This agreement will need to be signed by each player and a parent.

12. The Board reserves the right to withdraw an All Star Team from any scheduled tournaments if in its judgement the team, coaches, or parents fail to represent the League (PYSA) and what it stands for in an appropriate manner.
